Though I have never been to Brazil, I have always felt some hidden passion for this country. For some reason I have never come to learning portuguese, but having listened to a great amount of bossa nova music I always seem to understand what the songs are about. I love old bossa nova, in particular Joao Gilberto, and pretty much all the Gilbertos. I love new interpretations, lounge versions. Some time ago I found a great album 'Cool Songs in Bossa', which features the songs many of you have heard some 10 years ago.
New interpretation is loungy, nice to have as background while having dinner and just gives a perfect mood.
