how love sounds

what is for you the melody of love?
does love has a special sound for you, or maybe special tune? is it pure melody or does someone sing it? who is singing? is the voice female or male?

there are songs that have special love sound for me, and it is hard to find a special unique formula, which explains what do all my favourite songs of love have in common. maybe nothing. but this list of songs is what love sounds to me. just as different as these songs are, so are my feelings, memories and emotions different when listening to each of them.

ennio morricone - playing love
etta james - at last
robin thicke - lost without you
jovanotti - serenata rap
barry white - i only want to be with you
george benson - love all the hurt away
bootsy collins - very yes
norah jones - the story
damien rice - the blower's daughter
rachel yamagata - i wish you love
will downing - day dreaming
syreeta - to know you is to love you
prince - the most beautiful girl
michel petrucciani - looking up
tania maria - intimidade
tsuyoshi yamamoto - jealous guy

and how does your ultimate love song list look like? have you ever thought about it?

sharing with you a great love song by isaac hayes, who for me is one of the best love voices, alongside with barry white, marvin gaye and george benson.
